In this self initiated project I created a series of props belonging to, or aquired by, the character Fagin from Oliver Twist. I created all the props from scratch, including all the lettering, calligraphy and illustrations. Every element was hand drawn and then manipulated on various Adobe programmes to best mimic authentic printing methods.
The props include a stolen wallet which holds a Five pound note, a receipt, a ticket to Vauxhall Pleasure Garden and a newspaper clipping. Fagin’s own items include an accounts pocket book, a bottle of gin and a series of gambling cards.
